My adaptation of the Argonath, also known as the Pillars of the Kings from LoTR.

Erected in the Third Age by King Rómendacil II, the towering sentinels were built to commemorate a great victory over the Easterlings and to mark the ancient northern border of the realm. Each statue originally featured a crown and a helm, holding an axe in its right hand with its left hand raised in a gesture of stern warning to Gondor's enemies. By the time the Fellowship of the Ring passed beneath the Argonath centuries later, Gondor's power had waned and the borders had receded.

This is an original 8x10" print hand drawn, the carved and limited prints made.
